Hades Canyon, a variant of Intel's NUC, has been using Radeon drivers from AMD's website for over a year now. Although I no longer have access to my Hades Canyon, if you're still using one, it would be great to hear about your experience with the new drivers in the comments section below.

Compared to the previous Intel-branded driver, there should be both performance and stability improvements with the new AMD branded drivers for the Radeon RX Vega M. Some Hades Canyon owners have successfully installed these drivers before, but now they are officially supported by AMD.

It's worth noting that Intel has taken a U-turn on their policy of providing an Intel-verified Radeon driver for the Hades Canyon. Instead, they provide a direct link to AMD's Radeon RX Vega 64 Drivers & Support page and instruct users to install the driver provided by AMD.

However, recently Intel released a 'driver update' on their Download Center website specifically for the Hades Canyon. This is significant because the previous driver from Intel was released back in January 2019, indicating that there have been few updates for this line of CPUs lately. This may be due to Intel's decision to discontinue this line and focus on their own Xe GPUs.

The Hades Canyon NUC was initially released in 2018 and remains the most powerful NUC for gaming due to its Kaby Lake-G GPU packaged with a Radeon RX Vega M GPU. With the new AMD branded drivers, users can expect improved performance and stability from their Hades Canyon systems.
