The Red Button team is excited to announce the release of its latest software update - Red Button 5.97. This new version comes packed with several enhancements, bug fixes, and new features that will take your image processing experience to the next level.

Fixed Coordinate Tracking for Zoomed Images

One of the key improvements in this new version is the fixed coordinate tracking for zoomed images. This feature ensures that your coordinates remain accurate even when you zoom in or out on an image.

Box Marking for Identifying AOI in Grayscale and RGB Images

Another significant addition to Red Button 5.97 is the box marking feature for identifying Areas of Interest (AOI) in grayscale and RGB images. This feature enables you to quickly and easily identify specific areas within your images, making it easier to analyze and process them.

Report Generation for Landsat 8 Spectral Analyzer

The Landsat 8 Spectral Analyzer has also received an update with the addition of report generation capabilities. This feature allows you to generate detailed reports on your spectral analysis results, making it easier to share your findings with others.

Landsat 8 ASCII Spectral File Reader

In addition to these updates, Red Button 5.97 now includes a Landsat 8 ASCII spectral file reader. This feature enables you to easily import and process Landsat 8 spectral files, giving you access to even more data for your image processing projects.

Other Bug Fixes and Improvements

Several other bug fixes and improvements have been made in this new version of Red Button. These include:

* Increased precision for Spectral Analyzer target reflectance values

* Radio buttons for selection are now displayed to allow the proper constants to be selected

* Temperature conversion factors for Landsat band 10 were also applied erroneously to band 11

* Fixed an error in the Landsat 8 surface temperature computation

* Removed a non-functioning radio button from Surface Temperature radio box

* Several upgrades to batch processing utilities

* Fixed a bug that prevented the HOT haze reduction algorithm from returning the eighth Landsat 8 band

* The ASTER L1B six-band bundled file reader in the ASTER Spectral Analyzer was not reading the files

* ASTER image resizing was not working properly

* ASTER Spectral Zoom was not working properly

* HSI pan sharpen from RGB not working

Upgrading to Red Button 5.97

If you're a registered user, upgrading to Red Button 5.97 is easy and straightforward. Simply download the new version and install it on your computer. If you want to keep both versions, that's okay too - the new version will not install on top of the old one. To upgrade, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the new version.

2. Use the 'Uninstall' utility in the PANCROMA folder to remove the old version.
